Terms and Conditions

Definitions

Anniversary Date

means the time and date a Budget Direct customer becomes an Eligible Member reviewed annually

App

means the Budget Direct Rewards Program smartphone application (available on iOS and Android)

Australian Resident

means a person who is either an Australian or New Zealand citizen or who holds a valid Australian residency visa

Budget Direct Rewards Account

means the account you create when you download the App or activate your account through the Website;

Budget Direct Rewards Program

means the loyalty program known as “Budget Direct Rewards” pursuant to which Eligible Members can obtain Rewards

Commencement Date

means the time and date an Eligible Member activates their Budget Direct Rewards account or such later date and time as determined by the Promoter, in its sole discretion

Eligible Policies

means any Budget Direct branded insurance policy for:

  1. Car Insurance;
  2. Comprehensive Car Insurance;
  3. Third Party Car Insurance;
  4. Third Party Fire and Theft Insurance;
  5. Home Insurance;
  6. Home and Contents Insurance;
  7. Contents Insurance;
  8. Landlord Insurance;
  9. Renter’s Insurance;
  10. Roadside Assistance;
  11. Travel Insurance;
  12. Life Insurance;
  13. Motorcycle Insurance;
  14. Pet Insurance;
Eligible Member

means a customer of the Promoter who holds at least two (2) Eligible Policies and is an Australian Resident or a person who is deemed by the Promoters to qualify for an Exemption

EPA

means Entertainment Publications Australia Pty Ltd being the operator of the Budget Direct Rewards Frequent Values Program;

Exemption

means a circumstance where the Promoter, in its sole discretion, deems a customer to be an Eligible Member for the purposes of these Terms and Conditions

Insurer

means Auto and General Insurance Company Ltd (ABN 42 111 586 353)

Membership

means a 12 month membership for the Budget Direct Rewards Program

Membership Details

means a member number and a temporary one-time PIN provided to the Eligible Member issued by the Promoter

Promoter

means Auto & General Services Pty Ltd ABN 61 003 617 909, AFSL 241 411 (operating under the brand Budget Direct) of Level 13, Toowong Tower, 9 Sherwood Road, Toowong 4066, Telephone: (07) 3377 8801

Promotion

means access to the Budget Direct Rewards Program offered by the Promoter during the Promotion Period

Promotion Period

means the period from the Commencement Date until the Promoter, in its sole discretion, deems that the Promotion ends

Related Entity

means a related entity of the Promoter as defined in section 9 of the Corporations Act (Cth) 2001

Review Date

means the Commencement Date reviewed annually by the Promoter to determine qualification as an Eligible Member

Rewards

means access to an offer that:

  1. is obtained by becoming an Eligible Member; and
  2. can be used in relation to the acquisition of goods or services supplied by the relevant Rewards Partner.
Rewards Partner

means any supplier or merchant who provides goods or services relating to the Budget Direct Rewards Program, as set out within the App or on the Website from time to time

Website

means the website for the Budget Direct Rewards Program which can be found at budgetdirect.frequentvalues.com.au

Introduction

  1. EPA operates the Budget Direct Rewards Program for the Promoter
  2. The Promoter is operating on behalf of the Insurer.
  3. Any advice is general only and does not consider your needs. Before acting on it, consider if it and the product is right for you by reading the Product Disclosure Statement and Financial Services Guide.
  4. Information on how to qualify forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Customers who take up the offer are deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions. If there is any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any other published material, these Terms and Conditions prevail.
  5. Subject to these Terms and Conditions the Promoter is offering each Eligible Member access to the Budget Direct Rewards Program, such membership to be reviewed annually on each Review Date.
  6. For transparency, listed drivers on motor policies, authorised people on policies, regular drivers with any relationship other than ‘spouse’, listed travellers (Traveller 2+), staff policies, motor policies where the policy holder is a company name, life add on benefits (Death Child, Death TPD, Death TPD Child, Death Trauma, Death Trauma Child, Death Trauma TP, Death Trauma TPD Child) and expired travel policies do not qualify for the program. Customers may choose to contact us at rewards@budgetdirect.com.au to understand their personal circumstance around eligibility.

Budget Direct Rewards Accounts

  1. At the Promoter’s discretion, we may email Membership Details to Eligible Members.
  2. Each Eligible Member must activate their Membership and create a Budget Direct Rewards Account to access the Budget Direct Rewards Program.
  3. An Eligible Member may activate their Membership and/or to create a Budget Direct Rewards Account by:

    Online Policy Manager
    1. Visit here;
    2. Create an account or login to policy manager;
    3. Retrieving your Budget Direct Rewards Membership Details;
    4. Download the Budget Direct Rewards App via the App Store or Google Play or visit here;
    5. Enter the required Membership Details
    6. Finalise setup by completing your personal details and creating a new password
    Invitation Email
    1. Open the invitation email sent by Budget Direct;
    2. Retrieve the Membership Details on the invitation email;
    3. Download the Budget Direct Rewards App via the App Store or Google Play or visit here;
    4. Enter the required Membership Details
    5. Finalise setup by completing your personal details and creating a new password

  4. Following activation of the account in accordance with clause 9 of these Terms and Conditions, your Membership will be valid for a period of 12 months unless otherwise terminated in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  5. On each Review Date your eligibility for the Budget Direct Rewards Program will be assessed by us. On each Review Date:

    1. If we determine that you are still an Eligible Member, we will automatically renew your Membership for a further 12 months; or
    2. If we determine that you are not an Eligible Member, your Membership will be cancelled within 7 business days from the Review Date.

  6. On each Anniversary Date, your eligibility for the Budget Direct Rewards Program will be assessed. On each Anniversary Date:-

    1. If we determine that you are still an Eligible Member, your access to the Budget Direct Rewards Program will remain
    2. If we determine that you are not an Eligible Member, your access to the Budget Direct Rewards Program will be removed.

  7. An Eligible Member may be required to purchase an additional Eligible Policy on their Anniversary Date, 12 months from the sold date of any travel insurance purchased to requalify for the Budget Direct Rewards Program.
  8. Each Eligible Member acknowledges and agrees that:-

    1. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur on your Budget Direct Rewards Account; and
    2. Your Membership Details are confidential and not transferrable to other parties or individuals
    3. The Rewards and the goods or services which may be offered by the Rewards Partners, may be subject to separate terms and conditions which may be imposed by those Rewards Partners. You will need to refer to the terms and conditions relevant to the Reward

  9. The Eligible Member acknowledges and agrees that the Rules of Use which are located on the Website apply to the Budget Direct Rewards Program.

Privacy

  1. The Promoter is committed to protecting your personal information and agrees to be bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). The Promoter’s privacy policy is available on the website www.budgetdirect.com.au and further details of how the Promoter will collect, store, use and disclose personal information can be found there.
  2. Personal information is collected in connection with entry into the Budget Direct Rewards Program for the purpose of facilitating access to the Budget Direct Rewards Program. If the personal information requested is not provided, then a person will be ineligible to participate in the Budget Direct Rewards Program. By entering into the Budget Direct Rewards Program, the customer consents to the Budget Direct Rewards Program disclosing the personal information to the Budget Direct Rewards Program supplier, and to any of the Promoter’s Related Entities, using the personal information to process and validate the Customer’s access to the Budget Direct Rewards Program.   3. You acknowledge and agree that we may provide your personal information to our Rewards Partners and other contractors and agents engaged by us to the extent it is relevant to administering your Budget Direct Rewards Account.

Liability

  1. Each Eligible Member acknowledges and agrees that:

    1. To the extent permitted by law the Budget Direct Rewards Program and the services provided or made available through the App or the Website are made available on an “as is where is” and “as available” basis.
    2. Rewards Partners do not have any authority to make any representation or warranty on behalf of the Promoter, or to bind or to purport to bind the Promoter in any capacity.
    3. Any comments, suggestions, representations or recommendations you may receive from us with respect to the Budget Direct Rewards Program (including on the App, Website or from our personnel) may not be suitable, accurate or complete and you must not rely on them in a way which may give rise to any loss or damage.
    4. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or representations (whether express or implied), and we will not be responsible for any liability whatsoever with respect to any Reward. Any warranty or other claims should be directed to the relevant party.

General

  1. The Eligible Member will receive instructions to their nominated email address on how to activate their Membership within 2 business days of qualifying.
  2. Only one set of Membership Details will be issued to each Eligible Member.
  3. This Promotion is not available in conjunction with any other promotion or offer, and the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any person from receiving access to the Budget Direct Rewards Program:

    1. If it suspects fraudulent activity;
    2. For a breach of these Terms and Conditions;
    3. If it decides that person has not acted in good faith; or
    4. For any false or misleading conduct of any kind.

  4. Access to the Budget Direct Rewards Program is not transferrable or exchangeable and none of the content can be redeemed for cash.
  5. Terms and Conditions of the individual Rewards Partner will apply to the redemption of each offer. You will need to check such terms and conditions with each Rewards Partner.
  6. The redemption website is operated and hosted by EPA. The Promoter is not responsible for, or liable in any respect, for products or services provided by EPA or any of the Rewards Partners.
  7. The Rewards Partners are not part of the Promoter. Check with each Rewards Partner for the terms and conditions of the issuer and the expiry date. Expired vouchers or offers cannot be extended or replaced. Vouchers or offers are not redeemable for cash.
  8. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion or subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate, withdraw or cancel the Promotion at any time without notice.
  9. If the offer of the Budget Direct Rewards Program is withdrawn or the Promotion is terminated by the Promoter you will only be eligible to access the Budget Direct Rewards Program after the withdrawal or termination date if the offer was applied to your policy while the offer was still in the market.
  10. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any tax liability associated, connected with or arising from the use of the Budget Direct Rewards Program or from any of the Rewards. You are solely responsible for any taxes, GST, duties, levies fees or other charges levied (including payment of all taxes levied by a Rewards Partner) or imposed, arising from, as a result of, or in connection with your participation in the Budget Direct Rewards Program.
  11. The Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) including any theft, unauthorised access, third party interference, any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction, or personal injury (including loss of opportunity) suffered or sustained in connection with the Promotion, or the use of the Budget Direct Rewards Program (whether negligent or not), except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
  12. These Terms and Conditions may be varied at any time without notice.
  13. The offer of the Budget Direct Rewards Program and any offer of Budget Direct insurance is subject to the Insurer deeming the risk is acceptable in accordance with its underwriting acceptance criteria.
  14. If a provision of these Terms and Conditions is invalid or unenforceable, it may be severed from these Terms and Conditions, and the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions will continue in force.
  15. You agree not to assign, sublicence or otherwise deal in any way with any of your rights under these Terms and Conditions.
  16. These Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in force in the State of Queensland, Australia and you unconditionally submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Queensland, Australia and any courts which have jurisdiction to hear appeals from such courts.

$10 Uber Eats Promotion

  • Limited to one code per person. Can only be used by the first person who redeems the code. Non-Transferrable.
  • Limited number of unique code vouchers available. No cash value. One-time use only. Maximum discount of $10 per redemptions.
  • To redeem discount, the Uber Eats Voucher code must be applied to Payment section of the Uber Eats App prior to requesting the intended order.
    Uber Eats Voucher valid for use between the dates stated on the Uber Eats voucher. No extension is possible.
  • Uber Eats Voucher is only valid for orders placed using applicable Uber Eats App. Taxes, fees, and tips will be covered provided that the value of the Uber Voucher is greater than the total order amount
  • Uber Eats Vouchers can only be redeemed where Uber Eats is available in Australia
  • Offer is non-transferable. Issues involving redemption and/or use of the Uber Eats Voucher code should be directed to TLC Marketing at contact@agiftforyou.com.au.
  • Uber Eats Voucher valid for 7 days from issue. No extension is possible.

Privacy Policy

Frequent Values by Entertainment by Entertainment Publications of Australia Pty Ltd ("Entertainment Publications") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, and the manner in which we may use such information. We may modify or supplement this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we decide to change this Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on this page of our website. We are committed to ensuring that to the best of our ability we meet all the requirements of ​Australian Privacy Principles and the Privacy Act in Australia, and Privacy Act (2020) and Privacy Principles in New Zealand. 

Collection of information:

Frequent Values by Entertainment collects information about you in 4 different ways:

  1. Member Activation:  When you activate your Entertainment membership, we will ask you to provide certain information about yourself. This information may include name, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number. We will collect personal information such as this only when it has been voluntarily provided by you.
  2. Restaurant Appraisal Forms:  When you complete a restaurant appraisal form as part of your Entertainment dining experience, we collect contact information such as your name, mailing address, and e-mail address.
  3. Voting for your Favourite Restaurant:  When you vote for your favourite restaurant using the online form or the form in the Entertainment membership, we collect contact information such as your name, mailing address and e-mail address.
  4. Cookies/IP Addresses: Entertainment Publications' customised Frequent Values websites, do not collect permanent cookies.

Entertainment Publications collects information about individuals using the Frequent Values series of websites through Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. An IP address is a number that is unique to the computer through which you are connected to the Internet. The Frequent Values series of websites also use "cookies" to assign identification to your computer. Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your web browser on your computer's hard drive. Cookies allow a website to store and reference specific types of information while you are visiting it, and to keep your session "live" when you are logged in. Entertainment Publications cookies contain no personal information or financial information. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, although your browser preferences may be changed to prevent this if you so desire. Please see www.cookiecentral.com for further information.

USE OF INFORMATION BY FREQUENT VALUES BY ENTERTAINMENT PUBLICATIONS:

  • We may disclose personal information if required by law or legal process.
  • We may disclose your personal information to third parties providing, or assisting us in providing, services requested by you, and for billing purposes.
  • We may disclose your personal information provided voluntarily as part of the restaurant appraisal process to the restaurant you appraised, so that the restaurant can provide you with information that it thinks you may be interested in about that restaurant.

Who will see or have access to your information?

We may disclose to third parties aggregate anonymous statistics regarding our customers, sales, traffic analyses and other information regarding or collected through our websites and printed forms. Other than in this anonymous form, we will not disclose your personal information without first obtaining your permission except as follows:  

  • We may disclose personal information if required by law or legal process.
  • We may disclose your personal information to third parties providing, or assisting us in providing, services requested by you, and for billing purposes.
  • We may disclose your personal information to the organisation that your Membership was provided through to provide redemption and usage information.
  • We may disclose your personal information provided voluntarily as part of the restaurant appraisal process to the restaurant you appraised, so that the restaurant can provide you with information that it thinks you may be interested in about that restaurant

Security

We process online customer orders and collect and store personally identifiable information using 128 SSL encryption technology. SSL encrypts the information you input before it is sent to us via the Internet. In addition, all of the customer information we collected on our website is stored on Entertainment Publication of Australia Pty Ltd's host server which is located in a restricted access area and is password protected.

We store all other material that contains personally identifiable information at our premises. These premises are kept secure at all times. Links to other sites: ads

Our privacy policy only addresses the use and disclosure of information we collect from our Websites.
